This policy explains what information WeeBee Tickets collects when you book metro tickets, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Introduction

WeeBee Tickets is operated by WAYQ Technologies Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information responsibly. This policy describes our practices for the WeeBee Tickets web application.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: your phone number, used to sign you in via one-time password (OTP).
  • Booking information: the journeys you book — origin and destination stations, ticket type, fare, and ticket status.
  • Payment reference data: identifiers needed to confirm a payment (such as the Razorpay order and payment IDs). We do not collect or store your card number or other payment-instrument details.
  • Device & security data: technical signals used to verify that requests come from a genuine app instance (for example, Firebase App Check) and to keep the Service secure.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Authenticate you and operate your account
  • Place, confirm, and manage your ticket bookings with the transit operator
  • Process payments and cancellations, and handle refunds
  • Provide customer support and respond to your queries
  • Maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the Service, and comply with legal obligations

4. Payment Information

Your payment is handled entirely by Razorpay. Card numbers, UPI credentials, and similar payment details are entered directly into Razorpay's secure, PCI-DSS-compliant checkout. WeeBee Tickets never sees or stores these details — we only receive a confirmation reference.

5. How We Share Information

  • Transit operator (via ONDC): the booking details required to issue and fulfil your ticket are shared with the operator over the Open Network for Digital Commerce.
  • Service providers: trusted providers that help us run the Service, including Razorpay (payments) and Google Firebase (authentication, app security, hosting).
  • Legal: where required to comply with applicable law, regulation, or a valid legal request.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and booking information for as long as your account is active and as required to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. You may request deletion of your account as described below.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@weebee.in.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, token-based authentication, app-attestation checks, and access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and review our controls regularly.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@weebee.in.

10. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, our Grievance Officer is Arun Gopinath (arun@wayq.in), who will respond to privacy complaints within 30 days.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here.
